Here is an easy dessert recipe that is easy to make and don’t need any baking or cooking. Just prepare this 3 1/2 hours before serving to give time to set and hardens.

Yields 12 pieces

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Fridge time: 3 hours

150 grams shortbread biscuits
1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
300 grams cream cheese
1/4 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup fruit preserves or jam (I used blueberry, strawberry, peach)

  1. Take your shortbread biscuits and crush into fine crumbles in a ziplock bag
  2. Add melted butter to the crumbles use your hand to mix in until you can form a ball
  3. Place cupcake paper in muffin tin and scoop about a 1 tbsp of shortbread into each cup
  4. Use your fingers to press down and form a cup
  5. Combine cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth
  6. Add about 1.5 tbsp of cream cheese into each shortbread cup and smooth over with the back side of a knife
  7. Heat up jam and add water if needed so it is more liquify and easy to work with
  8. Add 3 or 4 drops of jam and using a toothpick, run through the jams until you form ripple effect
  9. Refrigerate for 3 hours, I cheated by loosely covering with a cling film (not touching cream cheese) and placing it into the freezer for 45 minutes and left to rest in room temperature for 5 minutes before taking a big bite!
